Keith & Andrea Foster
Keith and Andrea have been managing Admiralty Lodge since June 2008. Prior to this they lived in West Harbour, Auckland where Keith was working as a part time chef at a rest home and Andrea worked in Customer Services for a local manufacturing company.
The reason for their move to Whitianga, apart from coming to manage Admiralty Lodge, was to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city. "It's great here in Whitianga" says Keith. "No traffic, no traffic lights, no traffic jams, small buildings, no elevators or escalators, real friendly people, nice selection of places to dine out at and so quiet and peaceful after living in the big smoke for too many years".
"I think Whitianga is the place for us" say's Andrea "I'd like to be here for a long time, the landscape and the opportunities to enjoy the seaside village environment, it's just so good, it's like paradise here".
For recreation Andrea likes to run and finds the local area ideal for this. She also works out at the local gym and does pilates there as well. Keith plays golf at the Mercury Bay Golf Club and likes to go fishing when time allows.
